
Vacation
You begin accruing vacation the day you're hired, equal to more than three weeks a year for your first two years, and four weeks a year (or more) after that. You also receive a bonus week of vacation every five years.
Holidays
We offer paid holidays on all days that the New York Stock Exchange is closed, including Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Good Friday.
Additional time away
All associates are eligible for nine days of sick time per year, paid jury duty and bereavement leave.
Short-term disability and pregnancy benefits
We provide short-term disability benefits that replace all or part of your income at no cost to you. How much you receive — and for how long — is based on your length of service with the Capital Group.
Generally, associates are also eligible for at least 90 days of paid or partially paid pregnancy leave after one year of service, plus any additional leave allowed by federal or state leave laws and our short-term disability plan.
Long-term disability benefits
If you become disabled and are unable to work for more than 180 consecutive days in a 12-month period, the Capital Group will replace up to 60% of your salary (subject to insurance guidelines).
